Event Details

This 1-day workshop will take you deep into the art and science of lifting and show you what it really takes to manage the benefit to risk of training

Module 1- Lift-Specific Assessment

This is where we take you from the classroom into the trenches to get up close and personal with the BIG LIFTS

  • Bench Press
  • Squat
  • Deadlift

In this section you will learn:

  1. 1. How to perform a lift-specific assessment and manage individual differences
  2. 2. How to prevent common lift related injuries

Module 2- Lift-Specific Intervention

This is where you take your first step to becoming a hybrid coach

A coach with the unique skill set to work effectively within both the rehabilitation and S&C phases of client/athlete training

In this section you will learn:

  1. 1. How to apply Heavy Band Mobilization techniques to correct joint restrictions
  2. 2. How to apply Compression Band Mobilization techniques to correct soft tissue restrictions

Module 3 – Program Design

This is where you learn to navigate the minefield that is program design and manage the benefit to risk of training

In this section you will learn:

  1. 1. How to build out a strength program for novice and intermediate lifters
  2. 2. How to apply the conjugate method to client/athlete training
